LineCheck.tv ("LineCheck," "we," "us," or "our") is a curated video platform for restaurant professionals, operated by Rafael García del Valle. We curate YouTube videos about kitchen operations, culinary technique, and restaurant management, and provide editorial commentary alongside embedded video content.

2. YouTube API Services

LineCheck.tv uses YouTube API Services to display video content, retrieve video metadata (titles, thumbnails, channel information, view counts), and look up channel details (subscriber counts, descriptions). By using LineCheck.tv, you are also bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.

3. Data We Collect

We collect the following types of data:

• Account information: If you sign up, we collect your email address via Supabase Auth (magic link or OAuth). This is used to manage your account, saved videos, notes, and collections.
• User-generated content: Saved videos, watch history, video notes, and collections you create on LineCheck.
• YouTube API data: We retrieve publicly available video metadata (titles, thumbnails, channel names, view counts, video descriptions) and channel information (subscriber counts, channel descriptions, thumbnails) from the YouTube API. This data is cached in our database to display content on the site. We do not access any private or user-specific YouTube data.
• Lead capture information: If you submit a form on the site (newsletter, creator submission, or contact form), we collect the information you provide (name, email, message).
• Analytics data: We use Vercel Analytics and Meta Pixel to collect anonymized usage data such as page views, referral sources, and device information. This data is used to understand how the site is used and improve the experience.

4. How We Use Your Data

• To provide and maintain your account and saved content (videos, notes, collections)
• To display curated video content with editorial commentary
• To send you communications if you opt into newsletters or submit a form
• To analyze site usage and improve the platform
• To process payments via Stripe if you subscribe to LineCheck Pro

5. How We Share Your Data

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the following services as necessary to operate LineCheck:

• Supabase: Database hosting, authentication, and data storage
• Stripe: Payment processing for Pro subscriptions
• Vercel: Website hosting and analytics
• Meta (Facebook): Advertising analytics via Meta Pixel
• YouTube / Google: Video embedding and API data retrieval

6. Cookies and Device-Level Data

LineCheck.tv uses cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:

• Authentication cookies: To keep you signed in to your account (managed by Supabase Auth).
• Analytics cookies: Vercel Analytics and Meta Pixel may set cookies to track anonymized usage data, page views, and advertising performance.
• YouTube cookies: When you watch an embedded YouTube video, Google may set cookies on your device in accordance with the Google Privacy Policy.
• Local storage: We use browser local storage to remember your preferences (e.g., saved videos, watch history) for logged-out users.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

YouTube API data (video metadata, channel information) is cached in our database and refreshed periodically. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at the email address below.

You can also revoke LineCheck's access to your data via the Google Security Settings page, which manages third-party app permissions.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can manage your saved videos, notes, and collections from your Archive page, or contact us to request full account deletion.
